The Rainbow Foundation in Sri Lanka was founded in 2016 as the Rainbow Project to help young and elderly people in need in Sri Lanka in the areas of education, rehabilitation, medical care and social integration.
Since 2017, the project has been officially registered and recognised as a non-governmental organisation (NGO) in Sri Lanka under the name "Rainbow Foundation".
is our top priority: integrating disadvantaged people into society, giving them new opportunities and opening doors is a strong pillar of the Rainbow Foundation.
That is why our teachers, together with the volunteers and the management, work every day to make the lives of disadvantaged people in Sri Lanka more independent. Education is linked to quality of life, especially in poor regions of the world. This ranges from school education and English lessons to prioritising a healthy diet and knowledge of universal rights. We work on a non-denominational basis and everyone is welcome here!
